How to cancel C-Date
We couldn't read C-Date's help pages or terms, so we can't confirm its menu labels or notice periods. The safe approach is to find out how you paid, switch off renewal well before the end of your period in your account or app store, and keep proof.

- Find out how you pay: directly on the site, or through Apple or Google Play. The route to cancel is different.
- Note the renewal date in your account and cancel before it.
- Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot, and check your bank statement after the next cycle.
Step by step

Work out how you paid
Check your confirmation email or bank statement. A Google Play charge is cancelled in Google Play. If you paid C-Date directly on the website, use your account there.

Open your account settings on the website
Log in and look for the membership, subscription or payment section. We couldn't confirm the exact wording of these menus.

Switch off renewal early
Turn off automatic renewal well before your current period ends, since we couldn't verify how much notice C-Date's terms require.

Keep proof
Save the confirmation email or take a dated screenshot showing renewal is off.

Check your statement, then contact support
Check your bank or card statement after the renewal date. If you were charged, write to app@c-date.com, the address on C-Date's Google Play page, with your proof.
Paid through Apple or Google?
C-Date's iPhone app isn't listed on the Irish App Store. If you subscribed through the Android app, cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Cooling-off period and refunds
We couldn't verify what C-Date's terms say about the 14-day right of withdrawal or refunds, because its site blocked our checks. Read the terms on c-date.com before you pay, and contact app@c-date.com if you think you are owed money. For Google Play purchases, refund requests also go through Google.

Deleting your profile vs stopping payments
On most subscription sites, deleting a profile does not stop payments, and we couldn't read C-Date's own help page on this. Switch off renewal first and keep proof, then delete the profile.
If it still charges you
Contact C-Date's support with your confirmation and the date you cancelled. If you paid by card and can't get a response, talk to your bank or card provider about the payment. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, ask them for help from your purchase history.
