In Ireland: Its terms have a specific section for people located in the EU: the agreement is with Ventnor Enterprise Limited and the laws of England and Wales apply. The homepage footer also names an EU operator, Pixojay Ltd in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Our take

AdultFriendFinder is one of the oldest adult social sites, part of FriendFinder Networks and run by Various, Inc. in the US. Its terms say that if you are located in the EU, which includes Ireland, your agreement is with Ventnor Enterprise Limited and the laws of England and Wales apply. The homepage footer, as we read it, lists Pixojay Ltd in Cyprus as the operator in the EU, so the two pages don't name the same company.

There is no public price list. The terms say subscription fees are shown to you at registration, and that paid subscriptions renew automatically on the day they expire, for the same period, unless you switch auto-renewal off. Virtual currency such as tokens is used for some features.

Two disclosures are worth knowing before you join. The footer says people in photos and videos may not be actual members, and the terms include a section on AI-powered features, such as AI chats and AI virtual friends, some of them labelled as beta. Neither is hidden, but it helps to know what you are looking at.

Who runs it: Various, Inc. (EU agreement: Ventnor Enterprise Limited, per the terms), according to AdultFriendFinder's own terms.

Good for

  • Adults who want a large, busy adult social site rather than a simple dating app
  • People comfortable with an explicit, feature-heavy environment

Avoid if…

  • You want to see prices in euro before you hand over an email address
  • You only want to talk to real people and nothing automated
  • You expect a refund for unused days if you change your mind mid-subscription

Pros

  • Terms say exactly where to switch off auto-renewal: the Billing History & Credit Card Info page
  • A dedicated EU section in the terms names the company you contract with
  • Long track record and a very wide range of features

Cons

  • No public price list before sign-up
  • Footer says people in photos and videos may not be actual members
  • Terms state there are no refunds for unused days of a subscription
  • The terms and the footer name different EU companies, which is confusing

What AdultFriendFinder costs

Check the current price on their site. AdultFriendFinder doesn't show a full price list on a public page we could read, or prices depend on your age, location or the offer of the day. We don't copy prices from other websites.

AdultFriendFinder does not publish prices on a public page. Its terms say fees are shown at registration, so check the price in euro on their site before paying.

Leaving AdultFriendFinder

AdultFriendFinder renews paid subscriptions automatically on the day they expire. Its terms say that to stop this you go to the Billing History & Credit Card Info page and turn auto-renewal off. The logged-in area isn't public, so we couldn't confirm the exact menu path to that page.

Cooling-off and refunds: We found no 14-day right of withdrawal in AdultFriendFinder's terms. They say no refunds or credits are given for prepaid amounts or unused days of a subscription, apart from a 3-day cancellation rule that applies only to residents of certain US states. If you think you were charged in error, contact support.
