Cancellation guide
How to cancel SaucyDates
SaucyDates bills through different providers depending on your device, app and country, and each is cancelled differently. Recurring subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. After you cancel, VIP access continues until the paid term ends.

Before you start
- Find out how you pay: directly on the site, or through Apple or Google Play. The route to cancel is different.
- Note the renewal date in your account and cancel before it.
- Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot, and check your bank statement after the next cycle.
Step by step
- 1
Find your payment provider
Check your transaction emails or bank statement: CCBill, Securion Pay, PayPal or the Apple App Store.
- 2
Securion Pay: cancel in the site
Log in, select SETTINGS > SUBSCRIPTION and press Cancel to stop further payments.
- 3
CCBill or PayPal: cancel with them
For CCBill, use CCBill's support form and give two of: subscription ID (in transaction emails), card number, email address. For PayPal, log in to PayPal, find the payment to SaucyDates, open the subscription details and cancel there.
- 4
Apple: cancel in your device settings
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, cancel the recurring subscription in your iPhone settings.
- 5
Keep proof and check your statement
Keep the confirmation, cancel before the renewal date, and check your next statement. Your VIP access runs until the original paid term ends.
Paid through Apple or Google?
SaucyDates' billing page says Apple App Store subscriptions are cancelled in your device settings. If you paid through Google Play, cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Cooling-off period and refunds
SaucyDates' terms say that by buying upgraded access you ask for the service to start immediately and lose your statutory right to cancel once access begins. Refunds are considered case by case under consumer law and the payment provider's policies. Contact support if you think a charge is wrong.
For the general rules on cancelling services bought online in Ireland, see the CCPC's guide. General information, not legal advice.
Deleting your profile vs stopping payments
On SaucyDates, deleting your account (SETTINGS > DELETE ACCOUNT) is blocked while a subscription is active or has not expired, so cancel billing first. Support can lift the block if you confirm the subscription has been stopped. Deleting erases all your data.
If it still charges you
Contact SaucyDates's support with your confirmation and the date you cancelled. If you paid by card and can't get a response, talk to your bank or card provider about the payment. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, ask them for help from your purchase history.
