In Ireland: C-Date has an Irish domain, c-date.ie, which redirects to its international site c-date.com. That site blocked our automated checks, and the iPhone app is not listed on the Irish App Store, so we couldn't confirm more than the domain and the Android app's Google Play page.
Our take
C-Date is a casual dating site and app for adults who know what they are looking for. Typing c-date.ie takes you to the international site, c-date.com. The Android app's Google Play page names its developer as Interdate S.A. and says registration is free, with paid features inside.
We couldn't read C-Date's website, terms or help pages: the site blocked our automated checks. For that reason we haven't named an operating company or described its renewal rules, and you should read the terms on the site yourself before paying.
Two practical points for Ireland. The iPhone app is not listed on the Irish App Store, so on an iPhone you would use the website. And in a public reply on its Google Play page, the developer says prices can vary depending on whether you subscribe in the app, in a mobile browser or on a computer.
Good for
- Adults looking for casual dating who are happy to read the terms on the site before paying
- Android users, since the app has a Google Play page
Avoid if…
- You use an iPhone and want an app: it isn't on the Irish App Store
- You want a review based on terms we could read ourselves
- You want prices in euro before you sign up
Pros
- Irish domain that leads to the official site
- Free to download, with in-app purchases, per its Google Play page
- Developer names a support address, app@c-date.com, on its Google Play page
Cons
- We couldn't verify its terms, prices or cancellation steps
- iPhone app not available on the Irish App Store
- Developer says prices vary between app, mobile browser and desktop

What C-Date costs
Check the current price on their site. C-Date doesn't show a full price list on a public page we could read, or prices depend on your age, location or the offer of the day. We don't copy prices from other websites.
We couldn't verify C-Date's prices: its site blocked our checks and the iPhone app isn't on the Irish App Store. Check the price in euro on their site before paying, and compare app and browser prices.
Once you have their prices, work out a trial with our true-cost calculator.
Leaving C-Date
We couldn't read C-Date's help pages or terms, so we can't confirm its menu labels or notice periods. The safe approach is to find out how you paid, switch off renewal well before the end of your period in your account or app store, and keep proof.
Cooling-off and refunds: We couldn't verify what C-Date's terms say about the 14-day right of withdrawal or refunds, because its site blocked our checks. Read the terms on c-date.com before you pay, and contact app@c-date.com if you think you are owed money. For Google Play purchases, refund requests also go through Google.

C-Date: questions people ask
Can I use C-Date in Ireland?
C-Date owns the Irish address c-date.ie, which takes you to its international site. Its iPhone app isn't on the Irish App Store, so on an iPhone you would use the website.
Does deleting the C-Date app cancel my membership?
No. Removing an app never stops billing. Switch off renewal in your account on the website, or in Google Play subscriptions if you paid there.
Can I get a refund from C-Date?
We couldn't read C-Date's terms on refunds. Check them on the site and contact app@c-date.com. If you paid through Google Play, refund requests go through Google.
